Til Stürmer Til Stürmer (North Carolina, USA)

Til Stürmer has a doctorate in medicine from the University of Basel, Switzerland, a masters in epidemiology from Harvard University, USA, and a doctorate in epidemiology from the University of Heidelberg, Germany. He combines his knowledge of clinical medicine as a board certified internist in Switzerland with his expertise in developing and implementing state of the art nonexperimental methods to limit the potential for bias, including by unmeasured confounding, in pharmacoepidemiology and comparative effectiveness research. Dr. Stürmer has over 200 peer-reviewed publications and leads a large pharmacoepidemiology training program in the department of epidemiology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a Fellow and former President of the International Society for Pharmacoepidemiology.
